MallorcaRhythm was founded in 1999 by Anke Siebenhüner and Jan Kobrzinowski in S´Arracó/Mallorca, Spain. TaKeTiNa, Anke Siebenhuener. The institute was inspired by our work as a TA KE TI NA team in Hamburg/Germany. After organizing several TA KE TI NA holiday workshops on Mallorca, we found the island to be a great place to live and to work. Since that time many inspiring people have crossed our path. We were fortunate to meet music teachers, musicians and others, inspired by working on a heartfelt path. We founded MallorcaRhythm in order to give strength to an evolutionary way of learning and personal growth. For us, rhythmic work is more than musical instruction and teaching. The idea of learning in a collective group process, guided by the wisdom of ancient, oral cultures combined with a modern know-how, has always been meaningful to us. A new way of spiritual growth and learning guides our teaching. Our work on Mallorca is inspired by its lovely, mediterranean climate, nature and the beautiful picturesque village of S´Arracó , situated in the Tramuntana Hills on the west coast of the island.
